Board of Directors

Nabil Kassam

Founder & CEO

Nabil is Founder & Executive Chairman of Noble Iron, Inc. He has also served as Managing Director of Zynik Capital Corporation, an investment and venture capital firm. Nabil’s prior work includes consulting at Booz & Company, Katzenbach Partners and Ernst & Young. Nabil holds his undergraduate degree from Harvard University and an MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.

Malcolm Hunter

Malcolm Hunter is an Owner and is President & Chief Operating Officer of Deeley Harley-Davidson Canada, the exclusive Canadian distributor of Harley-Davidson motorcycles, branded products and services. Malcolm also sits on a number of committees with the Harley-Davidson Motor Company. He is a graduate of the Simon Fraser University Economics and Commerce Department, the Queen’s University Executive MBA Program, and the Wharton School of Business Advanced Management Program.

Aly G. Mawji

Aly is a Chartered Professional Accountant involved in commercial real estate management and development. His career experience includes audit and consulting services at Pricewaterhouse Coopers and marketing management at Art.com, the world’s largest retailer of posters and art prints.Aly is a graduate of the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

William Palmer

William is Managing Partner of TNV Partners, an investment and real estate development company. William was the founder of Access Storage Solutions, one of Europe’s largest self-storage companies with over 60 locations in England, France and Germany. William is also an active angel and fine art investor. He holds a BA from Yale University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Paul Strachman

Paul Strachman is an Entrepreneur and Investor, currently serving as a Partner at the early-stage VC company Red Sea Ventures.  Paul also serves a strategic advisor to several startups as well as mature companies such as Equinox Holdings. He holds a MSc Engineering from ENPC Engineering School in France, a MSc in Finance from London School of Economics as well as an MBA from Stanford Business School.

Mary Van Santvoort

Mary Van Santvoort is a CPA and CA with over 25 years experience in Senior and Executive Financial positions in the manufacturing sector focusing primarily in the automotive parts and tooling industry. She is currently CFO for Zynik Capital Corporation’s Automotive Group. She holds a Honours Bachelor of Business Administration majoring in Accounting from Brock University where she was awarded the Vice Chancellors medal as top graduating and Chartered Accountant designation from the Canadian Institute of Chartered Accountants, first decile in Canada.

Jim McInnis

Jim is a CPA, CA and Chartered Director (C. Dir.), with more than 30 years of experience in operations, acquisitions and financings across numerous industries in both private and public entities. He is President of Sycamore Capital Corp., an advisory and investment company. Jim holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Prince Edward Island.
